A work in progress nursery!

Here's K's nursery in progress! We really don't have a whole lot left to do, just putting some personal touches on it! :)

K's crib and the bird mobile that I made her today!

The dresser/changing table, and curtains that I made this weekend!

A close up of the bird mobile (sorry it's kinda fuzzy!). It was an old duck and fish mobile that was in MK's room that I refurbished to match K's room!

Here's a breakdown of everything we've done for K's room and the cost! :)

Crib- Graco from Amazon (MK's old crib)

Pottery Barn bumper pad- brand new with tags on $15 on Craigslist

Sheet- $9.99 from target

Layered Ruffled crib skirt- made by me with some white linen curtains I had laying around! 

Mobile- MK's that I refurbished with scraps I had using this tutorial to make the birds.

Paint- Valspar from Lowes (used a gift card)

Bed- from my grandparents house

Bedding- was on the bed already

Tan blanket- Ikea $20

Bed skirt- Anthropology on clearance $40

Roman shades- made by me! :) Fabric and supplies from JoAnn's were $60

White linen curtains- $19 from Ikea

Curtain rod- TJ Maxx $20

Dresser- from Mk's old room

Dresser knobs- Hobby lobby ranging from $1-$2 (Got them 50% off!)

Changing pad cover- Boppy from Buy Buy Baby (used a gift card)

Frames and picture ledges- Ikea $1-$15

Crosses and other decorative items- either in the room already or from different areas in our house

 

The only other things on my "to-do" list is:

-hand made bunting to go over the crib

-More personal touches in the room (possibly some art with her name in it?)

-A coral accent pillow on the bed

-A rug- maybe chevron?

-Organizing the closet! :)

 

It's so fun to see my vision coming together! It's making this whole having another baby thing even more real!!!
