Today we are 26 weeks pregnant!
14 to go and this is the last week of the second trimester! :)
| Big sister was pushing her baby doll and drinking from her baby's bottle during this week's picture! |
How big is baby? Baby is 1 and 2/3 lb and about 14 inches long- the length of a hothouse cucumber!
Weight gain/loss: Up 19lb... still gaining a lb/week so on track for the upper limits of the recommended 25-35lb! :)
Sleep: Sleeping great, noticing this week that the fatigue is coming back so I'm enjoying a daily afternoon nap.
Movement: K's still moving like crazy. I've been starting to do kick counts every night the past week and she hits 10 kicks in less than 3 minutes usually... busy girl!
Symptoms: Fatigue, random sciatic pain, having to pee more often, heartburn, braxton hicks contractions.
| Side profile of the belly this week! There's no denying it. |
Belly button: It's kinda half in and half out... definitely looking strange! I think it'll pop out in the next couple weeks and miss K gets bigger.
Food Cravings:Mac and cheese and greek salad (usually what I have for lunch!) and this weekend I craved a thin crust pizza with veggies so Mike took me out to get one! Thanks hubs!
Gender: Girl! Khloe Margaret Vogelaar
What I miss? Yoga has been kicking my butt the past week, so this week I miss being able to rock it at yoga! A lady in class today said "I can't believe you are doing this pregnant." I must have looked like I was struggling today (and I definitely was!).
What I'm looking forward to? Our 7 month doctor appointment is next week and we are getting a sonogram, so I can't wait to see miss K again! We are getting super close to the third and last trimester... it's going by SO fast!
Milestones: On monday we hit the 99 day countdown! less than 100 days until my due date! YAY!
Big sister: This week big sister is starting the potty training adventure! We are just starting for a couple weeks by sitting on the potty after waking up from and before going down to sleep/nap and 30 mintues after eating and drinking. I'm hoping this will show MK that she can pee on the potty and increase her confidence for the full blown potty training to come soon. This first day she went pee on the potty 4 times and today she went pee 3 times! I'm so proud of her and her face is priceless when she pees in the potty... she is so proud of herself! :)
This was a quick update, nothing really going on here this week! Next week should have more info after our doctor's appointment!
Love y'all,
The Vog Family
