5 month old Khloe update!

I can't believe this sweet girl is 5 months... I know I say this every month, but seriously it seems like she is growing like a weed! Here's what K's up to at 5 months:

Eating: Breastfed every 4 hours- usually at 7,11,3,7 and still doing a dream feed at 10 (whatever I pump before hand... usually 6 ounces). She also now has 1 cube (~1 ounce) of homemade baby food at the dinner table with us. She's only had sweet potatoes so far but she LOVES them! She even grabs the spoon and shoves it in her mouth.

Sleeping: Khloe's sleeping from 7pm-7am at night (we get her out of bed at her dream feed at 10 but she usually stays asleep). She's still taking 3 naps- if she gets up at 7 she naps from 9-11 and 1-3 and takes a 45 min cat nap around 5. She's still "swaddled" on the bottom and if we don't swaddle her she sleeps really fitfully. She's also now officially a tummy sleeper! She is an awesome napper and sometimes I have to wake her up when it's time to eat because I don't want her to go longer than 4 hours between feeds. How I got lucky with two good sleepers? I have no clue (maybe Baby whisperer helped a bit? Prayer? And reading and responding to her cues?.. but mostly just the temperament of my babies which I had nothing to do with!).

Milestones: Khloe's getting so much more interactive! She's cooing and babbling at us a ton and laughing more too. She's rolling all over the place and now we've got to really keep our eyes on her since she's getting mobile (Lord help us!!). She's even scooted forwards and backwards a couple times... mama's not ready for crawling any time soon though! Khloe's also sitting up pretty well with a little help and I'm sure will be doing on her own soon.

What we've been up to this month: It's been a low key month in the Vogelaar house. We've been enjoying some sweet family time. It's been such a joy to watch my girls start interacting with each other. Khloe thinks MK is hilarious and laughs at her constantly. Maddie loves playing with K, but is starting to get a little jealous if Mike and I are playing with her.

I'm hoping to get updated on here soon... The Lord has been teaching me a lot recently that I'd love to jot down.
