17 weeks in England!!!

This week, we are 17 weeks pregnant and celebrating in England! 

I don't have a belly pic this week (just didn't have time to get one taken!) but I've got a few pics of our England adventures with the bump in view!

How big is baby? Baby is a turnip this week- about 5 ounces and 5 inches according to Baby Center! 

Total weight gain/loss? I haven't stepped on a scale this week, so I don't know! We've been walking a lot and also eating a lot, so we'll see when I get home! I don't feel any bigger, so I'm not thinking that I've gained a lot. My second trimester goal is 1lb/week. 

Sleep? Sleeping great! The jet lag was hard to overcome the first couple of days here and I've definitely had to take naps during the day with all the walking we've been doing! 

Movement? BB is still kicking strong! Mike tried to feel him/her this week, but its kicks aren't that strong yet. I love feeling them though.

Symptoms? Feeling fantastic! Besides from having a bump and feeling baby move, I don't feel pregnant at all! I LOVE the second trimester! 

Food Cravings? INDIAN FOOD!!!!! We've had it twice this trip and it is fantastic. The best Indian food is in England... now I've got to find a good place in Dallas to satisfy my cravings. 

Gender: We find out on weds!! I'll make it public late weds night because we want to tell family and our Dallas family (community group) first. I'm still thinking boy, but my family thinks girl. 

What I miss? Having a glass of wine with my mom at dinner and sleeping on my belly.  

What I'm looking forward to? Finding out BB's gender and finally getting to call him/her by name... Mike and I finally finalized names this week! :) Getting to plan a nursery, telling all of our family and friends what BB is, Caroline coming to stay with us for a week, being reunited with my sisters for a long weekend in LA and taking MK to Disneyland for an early birthday present! LOTS to look forward too. 

Big Sister: MK's had a blast in England with Gigi, Poppy and Caroline! I'll do a long blog post about our trip when we get back in town and settled. She is getting smarter and communicating better by the day. I'm still in denial that I'm going to have a two year old soon.... oh and also that i'm going to have a two and a half year old and a newborn in 23 weeks!
